RPIA Description
The Rwanda Poultry Industry Association (R.P.I.A) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2012 by the Poultry Value Chain (private sector) actors. It is a member of the Chamber of Agriculture and livestock (RCAL) of Rwanda Private Sector Federation (PSF).
R.P.I.A was founded after realizing that the poultry industry in Rwanda was still young and faces many challenges while it has huge potential to transform the livelihoods of many Rwandans in terms of food security, nutrition, and income.
The association is officially recognized by the Government of Rwanda as a Professional organization registered under the Ministerial Order No11 of 07/09/2010 determining the modalities and requirements for the registration of trade unions or employers professional organizations, especially its Articles 3, 4 and 7.
It is registered by MIFOTRA with letter No : 0700/19.23 and published in Official
Gazette No 23 of 3rd August 2020
